This summer the world's highest and longest glass-bottom bridge, located in Zhangjiajie, a scenic national park in the country's Hunan province, is going to be completed and it will connect two massive cliffs. The said bridge is made of steel and glass, and there will be nothing but glass between the visitors and the 984-foot cliff below. The glass-bottomed bridge will be 430 meters (1,410 feet) long and 6 meters (20 feet) wide.
Israeli architect Haim Dotan estimates that the bridge will be able to hold up to 800 people at once. "As the designer of this bridge, located in an incredible and magical national park, I believe in nature, harmony, balance and beauty. Nature is beautiful as is, one wants to make the least impact upon it. The Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge was designed to be invisible as possible...a white bridge disappearing into the clouds."
What is more, the bridge's bravest visitors will have access to the world's highest bungee jump!
