Cracks appeared suddenly in one of the glass panels of the impressive bridge in China's Yuntai Mountain, resulting in a group of Chinese tourists to start screaming in terror. A visitor published photos in Chinese social media and described how he felt the vibration beneath her feet when the glass broke.
The bridge was opened to the public on September 20th and it is currently closed pending repairs.
Spokesman of the management company confirmed that only a glass panel of the bridge broke and that tourists were removed. According to him, the cracks occurred when one of the guests threw a metal cup. He explained, however, that only one of the three levels of glass panels broke, so guests were not at any risk.
