Engineers in Dubai are arguably pioneers in construction. A new building construction that is expected to be the tallest skyscraper of all is underway!!
This skyscraper will be taller than 830 m and is called "the Tower". Its construction has attracted global attention and it will certainly be the landmark of Dubai.
Designed by well-known Spanish-Swiss architect Santiago Calatrava-Valls, the construction of the Tower began already and is scheduled to be completed in 2020.
The total area of the floors of the skyscraper will cover six square kilometers (in total) and will include spaces with gardens and panoramic view of the capital. Also, there will be numerous residents and floors for shopping, restaurants and other activities.
