It is the largest delta 3D printer in the world, its height is 12 meters, and it is able to print whole houses. The BigDelta of the team WASP will be presented in a three-day event,with a series of workshops, conferences, concerts and other shows which will take place on September 18–20 in Massa Lombarda, Italy.

According to WASP, the printer is extraordinary, considering that in 2030 the requirements concerning the houses will have risen sharply internationally-with more than 4 billion people living with an annual income of less than $ 3,000. The United Nations estimate that in the next 15 years there will be a need for 100,000 new houses per day.

The WASP team proposed this option for low-cost houses as part of a 'MakerEconomy' perspective, where everything can be built through shared solutions.

The printer can use a wide range of materials, such as clay, which can be enhanced by chemical elements, producing something like 'cement'. Also, in some regions the walls of houses can be enriched with repellents.
