Expert witness

An expert witness is an individual with specialized knowledge, education, or experience in a particular field. This person is called upon to provide professional opinions and insights during legal proceedings. The expert is expected to provide unbiased, objective, and well-informed opinions based on the available evidence. They are often sought in cases where technical, scientific, or complex matters are involved, and their role is to assist the court, judge, or jury in understanding complicated issues.
