At least 32 people were injured on Saturday in a hotel in the town of Sarikamis, in the northeastern province of Kars, Turkey when the roof of a hotel collapsed during a documentary screening.
In particular, rescuers freed dozens of people and 32 injured were taken to hospital, of which 23 were discharged after being given first aid, according to the Turkish Anadolu Agency.
The Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Kasapoglu visited the hospital and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
It is noted that the accident happened during an event for the screening of a documentary, dedicated to the 1914 battle between the Ottoman and Russian armies.
