An under-construction building collapsed on Tuesday evening in northern Bengaluru, resulting in the deaths of eight people and the rescue of 13 others. Among them, five individuals sustained severe injuries while authorities expressed concern that several others may still be trapped beneath the debris.
The building collapse occurred in the Horamavu Agara area, located in eastern Bengaluru, where approximately 20 workers were present at the time of the incident. Despite the ongoing downpour, rescue operations continue with the assistance of specialized teams, including a canine unit.
