The Tall Building Fire Safety Network (TBFSN) has released details of its programme for 2026, featuring international training dates and the return of its global conference. The 10th International Tall Building Fire Safety Conference is set to take place in London during the summer of 2026, with exact dates to be finalized. Ahead of the event, TBFSN plans to invite experts to submit papers on key topics such as artificial intelligence, building information modelling (BIM), electric vehicle risks, arson, construction safety, and emerging concepts.
Founded in 2009, TBFSN has grown into a well-respected global platform for fire safety in tall buildings. Over the years, it has hosted nine international conferences in locations including the UK, United States, and Australia. The network also reports that more than 2,000 building managers have completed its Tall Building Fire Safety Management course. Its online presence continues to grow, with a LinkedIn community of over 3,000 members and more than 1,790 subscribers to its YouTube channel, which features more than 50 CPD training videos.
For 2026, TBFSN has scheduled its accredited five-day Tall Building Fire Safety Management training courses in several international locations. Sessions will take place in Dubai in January, London in March, June, October, and November, Malta in late March to early April, and Cyprus in September. These programs remain focused on developing strong management practices for ensuring fire safety in high-rise buildings and are officially accredited by the Institute of Fire Safety Managers and recognized by the Institution of Fire Engineers.
With its call for papers, TBFSN is encouraging professionals around the world to share research, case studies, and best practices at the 2026 conference. The organization emphasizes that all topics related to tall building fire safety are welcome, reflecting the need for continued collaboration and innovation in this growing field. As global construction of tall buildings continues to rise, both in height and frequency, TBFSN highlights the importance of international forums to address evolving challenges.
In all, for those working in fire safety and building management, TBFSN’s 2026 programme offers valuable opportunities to gain accredited training, exchange ideas with global peers, and contribute to advancements in the industry. With increasing demand for safe, resilient tall buildings, the organization aims to keep professionals informed, prepared, and engaged with the latest developments and technologies shaping the future of high-rise safety.
