Aman is set to make its debut in Singapore—and it's doing so from the country's highest address. The luxury hospitality brand will occupy part of The Skywaters, a soaring 63-story tower that rises more than 1,000 feet and is on track to become Singapore's first supertall skyscraper. The project replaces the former 52-story AXA Tower, which was demolished in 2023 to make way for the new development, making it the tallest building ever intentionally taken down.
Developed through a partnership between Perennial Holdings and Alibaba, The Skywaters has been designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, while Aman's dedicated spaces have been entrusted to longtime collaborator Kerry Hill Architects. The design draws inspiration from Singapore's iconic black-and-white colonial bungalows, blending generous proportions, natural materials, and understated elegance. This design philosophy has defined Aman since the brand launched its first resort in Phuket in 1988. Today, Aman operates more than 35 properties across over 20 destinations, with Singapore marking its first presence in the city-state.
Aman Singapore will occupy floors 24 to 26, with a signature spa spanning an entire level and centered around an infinity pool. Above it, branded residences will extend across floors 28 to 30, offering one- to five-bedroom homes with sweeping views of the city skyline. At the very top of the tower, floors 56 through 63 will house an exclusive collection of fewer than 30 residences—a mix of two- to five-bedroom penthouses and residences—crowned by two Sky Villas spanning more than 18,000 square feet each. Select homes will feature private pools and dedicated wellness spaces.
According to Perennial Holdings Chairman Pua Seck Guan, construction has already reached roughly one-third of the tower's planned height. The Skywaters is expected to be completed in 2028, while Aman has yet to announce an official opening date. Once it welcomes its first guests and residents, however, Aman will not only establish its first address in Singapore—it will also claim the highest address in the country.
