Strong wind loads are anticipated to be the cause of the collapse of a vacant building in the Upton neighborhood of west Baltimore, Maryland, according to a report from WBFF. There have been no injuries or fatalities associated with the event.
Baltimore has more than 14,000 privately held vacant buildings, according to a municipal database. According to Roman Clark, a spokesperson for Baltimore City Fire, the accident happened in the 700 block of West Lanvale Street.
Although wind is the possible cause of the collapse, the exact cause of the building's failure is still unknown.
