Response Spectrum method of seismic analysis has many inherit problems, specifically dealing with non-linear conditions. There needs to be some special adjustments made in the analysis process to deal with these conditions. In the present session a process will be explained to deal with Tension/Compression members in Response Spectrum  Analysis.
