The 1st International Conference on Construction Materials and Structures (ICCMATS) will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa on 26-28 November, 2014. The conference is focused on research, structural and industrial or engineering applications involving the six (6) modern construction materials namely:- cement, concrete, bitumen, steel, masonry, timber. ICCMATS is the first of its kind in Africa and is organized by University of Johannesburg (UJ) in conjunction with Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), China.
