A 66 foot long brick wall was blown down in China and this collapse, which occurred on a street in Lanzhou City, northwestern China, has claimed 2 lives and left 7 people injured. The trapped pedestrians were dug out by the rescuers using shovels and other tools as well as searching the debris for further victims.

Video: Tennessee Bridge Demolition

The video below shows Tennessee officials demolishing a bridge over I-65 last weekend. The demolition decision was taken after a gasoline tanker ran into the bridge on August 15th and exploded.

Spring floods are causing major problems for residents of New Brunswick, Canada. The video below shows a bridge being moved three to six feet by large chucks of ice trying to flow underneath the bridge. The Canadian Broadcasting Company also captured footage of an 87-year-old covered bridge being swept down the Canaan River by the floodwaters.
