More importantly, bolsters a modern News Center that will keep its users updated with the latest news in structural engineering globally. With all that, the presence of the website in social media is launched, so that interested professionals can be kept updated via facebook and twitter on the latest news in structural engineering.

The team behind TheStructuralEngineer is enthusiastic about this development. “This is a major step forward” says Prof. Dimitrios Zekkos, CEO of the organization and a Professor at the University of Michigan. “We have been working on our civil engineering websites since 2000 and to reach that point is very exciting.”

The Structural Engineer became a separate resource website in September 2007 and since then, a newsletter has been published every month. Today, the structural engineer, has more than 4,000 visitors each month and nearly 5,000 members subscribed to its newsletter.
