Forensic engineering is a specialized branch of engineering that includes the investigation, the analysis, and the interpretation of engineering failures, accidents, and other incidents that cause damage. It combines principles of engineering, scientific analysis, and expert judgment to assess damage, and provide insights mainly for prevention measures. Through meticulous examination and rigorous analysis, forensic engineering aims to investigate complex events, offering crucial conclusions that are referred to safety improvement and design practices enhancement.
